Armando Garbarini, 34 years old, was born and lives in Vigevano (PV) when he’s not in Rome or San Benedetto Del Tronto (AP), his second home. Poet and performer, he has taken part in a wide range of literary contests, Slam Poetry and international events, always receiving special mentions, awards and important recognitions, including:

He has worked with various Italian and foreign artists including the Romanian painter Emanuela Lucaci for the TIME exhibition in Atlanta (USA), the French artist Mike Sylla for the Slam Opera show, the Italian actor and comic Claudio Batta for Quiz Show.

He made his debut in bookshops in 2004 with his collection of poetry SARO’ POETA. He started out in narrative in 2005 with the fairytale IL CUORE CON UN’ANIMA.

He features in numerous anthologies of poetry with his lyrical works and in poetry magazines including GRADIVA, International Journal of Italian Poetry – The State University of New York.

He collaborates with the online magazine Abruzzo Cultura with the column Autoritratti.

He has written song lyrics and plays.

His favourite poets and writers include Richard Bach, Hermann Hesse, Shakespeare, Dino Campana, Iohn Keats, Patrizia Cavalli and Emily Dickinson.

His favourite book is THE PORTRAIT OF DORIAN GRAY by Oscar Wilde.
